Monday Music

Brief, due to traveling...

This is a song I loved when I first heard it. John Fogerty wrote it and CCR recorded it on Cosmos Factory in 1971.

A fellow by the name of Ted Hawkins did a remake, and damn if he didn't do it good!

Hawkins is a talented soul. This is another remake, from another group I think you'll recognize.

And finally a little something of more recent origin.

Ted Hawkins was a virtual unknown outside or southern California and parts of Europe, but with his interpretation of "Long as I can see the Light," he laid claim to it. One of these days, maybe, he'll come to Texas. Hawkins is a shoe-in for the Austin music scene.
